Spring Festival Travel Rush Kicks Off | CGTN Dialogue

About 3 billion trips will be made during this year’s Spring Festival travel rush, known as “the Chunyun” in Chinese, between the February 1st and March12th.
Travelling around during the festival is never easy. Although the Nation transport networks are more capable of handling, the volume and challenge still remains.
What are those challenges?
Would the expansion of high-speed network and other technological development solve the dilemma?
How does the travel rush reflect the economic growth and social mobility?
To consider these questions, the Dialogue Studio invited Dr. Wang Huiyao, the President of Center for China and Globalization (CCG), Yi Min, Chief advisor of Mass Transit Railway Corporation, and Aravind Yelery (via satellite), Assistant Director of Institute of Chinese Studies, share their opinions.
